National Fragrance Day

National Fragrance Day is today, March 21, 2020.

Isn’t it amazing how scent takes us back to the past?

The scent of lilacs reminds me of my mother’s favorite flower and her Mason jar bouquets. Those fresh flowers on our kitchen table filled the house with fragrance and reed diffusers can duplicate the feelings.

Did you know that the human brain can identify more than 10,000 smells?

National Fragrance DayYour nose has at least 350 different odorant receptor proteins and they detect scents in the air. The receptor proteins combine in different combinations to identify scent molecules entering the nose.

Coded Signals

The coded signals transfer from the nose to the olfactory bulb in the brain, and from the olfactory bulb, the signals transfer to the cortex. Finally, the cortex maps them as “odor perceptions” where they remain throughout your lifetime.

This is how a certain scent reminds you of a certain place or a time in your life.

Our reed diffusers are very environmentally friendly and they emanate NO soot or film onto your furniture, walls and ceiling- the way candles do. (If you use an ionic air cleaner, you already know that you need to clean ionic cleaners twice as often if you use candles in your home. Not so with reed diffusers.)

Unlike unregulated reed diffusers from Asia that may have any combination of unregulated ingredients,

Our ingredients are alcohol-free and DPG-free.

We have more than 65 reed diffuser fragrances. Visit our store here to find your favorite and celebrate National Fragrance Day 2020. Shop Reed Diffuser Oils

Not sure about Fragrance Types? We have a Fragrance Table that sorts our reed diffuser oils by type: Herbals, Floral, Uplifting, Refreshing, Fruity, Calming, Spicy, Holiday, and Cozy Home scents. Surprise your nose with something new!
